Within the framework of the ICT Partnership, the Information Society DG of the European Commission and the Presidency of the European ISOC Chapters Coordination organised an information meeting with ICT associations and representatives of ISOC Chapters in Europe on Friday 7th of December afternoon in Brussels.
The meeting did cover a wide range of issues linked to EU policies, such as Internet governance, DNS, multilingualism, eContent, etc .
In the light of the presentations made by EC Officials and participants to EU projects, there was an open discussion on how the user and demand requirements could impact Internet related programmes at the level of Europe and world-wide.
